Monto Open Doors wins John Herbert Memorial Prize

From the National Trust - "Taking out the night’s highest honour – the prestigious John Herbert Memorial Award – was Emma Scragg, Architect for Monto Open Doors in the North Burnett region, around 200 kilometres west of Bundaberg, recognised for transforming local history into an engaging heritage experience, reconnecting communities with their past."

This one day event took 6 months in the creating and many in-kind donated hours on the day and in providing services to help promote the event. The award is for the town of Monto, my beloved home for the last 4.5 years.
